About Yoga

The aim of yoga is to achieve a state of balance between the mind, body and spirit and thereby promote an overall sense of wellbeing.

The beginners & level 1 class is Hatha based yoga, combining posture work and breathing techniques with some relaxation and meditation at the end of each practice.

Yoga is non competitive and is about working to your own capacity, so everyone is encouraged to work to their individual level. Alternatives and modifications for postures will be offered so the class content can be tailored to each person’s needs.

Classes are held in a relaxed atmosphere where we can all enjoy yoga together.

About Marita

I’m from Dublin and have lived in the UK for nearly 30 years. A hairdresser by trade I started to practice yoga around 13 years ago and haven’t looked back.

I’ve been very lucky with my yoga teachers who have influenced me hugely and continue to do so. I did my teacher training with Triyoga and am now teaching yoga for beginners & level 1.

I divide my week with teaching yoga and working still as a hairdresser in London and Beaconsfield.
